Foss supports government and military operations by ocean towing its ships as well as transporting highly valuable military cargo, supplies and equipment on barges. Foss has modified tractor tugs with underwater fenders to assist submarines at bases on the California coast. Additionally, we provide crane repair services for U.S. Navy Cranes, both on-site and at our shipyard in Seattle, Washington.
Foss supports major companies with large military contracts, such as Boeing, where we provide marine support services to the Boeing SBX program. We also own and operate the M/V Delta Mariner, a custom-engineered and designed ship for Boeing’s Delta IV Program, which supports the U.S. Air Force in providing real-time critical data on international battlefields.
